The research team originally consisted of students of the School Psychology Department at the Faculty of Education and the Sociology Department at the Faculty of Social Science of the Charles University in Prague. The core members of this team keeps cooperating on the project which is now under a patronage of the Sociological Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences as a part of a project Prediction of school failure/success in the field of literacy of pupils.
Magdaléna Gorčíková
PhDr. Magdaléna Gorčíková gained a PhD. in a field of Sociology at the Faculty of Social Science of the Charles University in Prague. She is interested in the educational inequalities and longitudinal research, specifically the theme of language and cognitive skills and abilities in the context of children's reading skills and their impact on life success.That was the reason she initiated research focused on the development of literacy of pupils. She is currently employed at Faculty of Arts UHK and works as junior researcher in the department of Social stratification at the Sociological Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
Within the project, she focuses on the research management and, along with other colleagues, she adapts and validizes psychometric tests and optimize tools for research of cultural sources.

Jiří Šafr
PhDr. Jiří Šafr, PhD. has a background in Sociology at the Faculty of Social Science of the Charles University. Currently, he is a part of the research deparment of the Local and Regional Studies of the Sociological Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences (formerly known as Social Structure Studies) and he is a assistant professor at the Faculty of Humanities of the Charles University. His interest is in the research of social stratification and inequalities (social classes, lifestyle, cultural capital and consumption, social distances, egocentric networks, intergeneration transmission of status) and the theme of social cohesion and social capital.
Within the project, he focuses on the development and adaptation of measuring tools including their usage in social surveys of adult population in the Czech Republic.

Věra Patočková
Mgr. Věra Patočková, M.A., Ph.D. is part of the research department Local and regional studies at the Sociological Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. She is an alumnus of PhD. studies at Institut of Etnology at the Charles University in Prague. Her professional interests involve leisure time, culture and public administration on local and regional level. Currently, she is invested in leisure time among children.
Within the project, she takes part in research preparations and interpretation of results.

Daniel Čermák
PhDr. Daniel Čermák, Ph.D., is a member of the research department Local and regional studies at the Sociological Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences and also teacher at the Faculty of Science at the Charles University in Prague. He focuses mainly on studies regarding regional differences and the issue of governing on local and regional level.
Within the project, he takes part in research preparations.

Martin Vávra
PhDr. Martin Vávra, Ph.D. works at the Sociological Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences in the department of Czech Social Science Data Archive and also collaborates with the Centre for Social and Economic Strategies FSV UK. Currently, he focuses on management and archiving data from social research and methodologies from social research. Among his professional interests, there are sociology of social values and attitudes towards foreigners.
Within the project, he focuses on the theme of relationshipt between family background of pupils and their literacy.

Martin Spurný
Mgr. Martin Spurný works at the Public Opinion Research Centre at the Sociological Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences as data analyst. He is an alumnus of Historical Sociology at FHS UK, where he continues with his PhD. In the past, he used to be a statistician at a private research agency Ipsos s.r.o. He focuses on the conditions of data collection in surveys and advanced statistical methods. His dissertation is based on exploration of labour market in the context of social stratification.
Within the project, he takes part in research preparations and data analysis.

Michaela Kudrnáčová
MSSc. Michaela Kudrnáčová is currently a PhD. student of Sociology at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Charles University in Prague and an employee of the department of CSDA at the Sociological Institute of the Czech Academy of Social Sciences and also collaborates with several important intitutions such as Physiological Institute or Czech National Agency for International Education. At present, she is invested in social inequalities and their link to biological rhytms among humans.
Within the project, she focuses on the support of the realization team.

Marie Pospíšilová (Dlouhá)
PhDr. Marie Pospíšilová, PhD. took a degree at the Faculty of Social Science of the Charles University where she gained PhD in the field of Sociology. Currently, she works at the Sociological Institute of the Czech Academy of Social Sciences in the department of Social Science Data Archive (CSDA) and also cooperates with the department of Gender and Sociology. She focuses on qualitative research. The main topics are gender inequalities in the field of entrepreneurship, electronic communication and cyber violence. In the past, she participated on research aimed on the theme of gender in connection to energetics and young people's alcohol consumption
Within the project, she focuses on the research preparation and research activities in the field.
